Waivers & Required Forms
Before you enjoy your Columbia River Boat Tour, each rider must sign a digital waiver:
- Waivers are sent via your confirmation email—please complete before arriving.
- Adults must sign their own.
- Guardians must complete a separate waiver for any minors in their group.
All waivers are part of our safety-first policy, a critical part of things to know before a boat ride.
Captain & Boat Safety
- Every ride is led by a licensed U.S. Coast Guard captain with over 20 years of experience. Meet the Captain
- Our boats are fully equipped with required safety gear, including USCG-certified life jackets for each guest.
These precautions help us deliver unforgettable family boat rides in Wenatchee while maintaining safety for all.
Dress Code Recommendations
Depending on the weather and tour type, you’ll want to dress accordingly.
For Adventure Boat Rides (Possible to Get Soaked)
Weather Conditions
- Below 80°F
- Below 70°F
- Below 65°F
Recommended Clothing
- Waterproof gear, light jacket
- Insulated clothing, neck gaiter, gloves
- Full winter suit (ski or snowmobile), goggles
Pro tip: The Columbia River is colder than it looks!
- Splash jackets (XL size) are available upon request.
- We recommend waterproof layers year-round for short adventure boat tours in Washington.
For Year-Round Private Cruises
- The cabin is enclosed and heated in cooler seasons, but it's still wise to bring layers.
- In summer, wear a swimsuit, bring a towel, and pack a windbreaker—just in case.
Personal Items
- Bring water and sunglasses for your comfort—but at your own risk.
- We are not responsible for damaged or lost belongings (especially electronics).
- For extra security, consider using a dry bag.
Time Management
- Please arrive 30 minutes early to account for parking, locating the dock, and restroom use.
- Avoid booking back-to-back activities. The duration of your Columbia River boat tour may vary depending on:
- River traffic
- Launch availability
- Weather conditions
Nature of the Activity
- Adventure Rides are action-packed—think of it as a jet boat thrill ride, not a fully narrated tour.
- Private Cruises offer light narration with a social, sightseeing focus.
Restrictions
- No infants or pets allowed.
- Riders must enter/exit the boat independently.
- We do not operate on the Wenatchee River, per Chelan County boating regulations.
- No whitewater or rapids experiences offered.
Rider Capacity
- Adventure Boat Ride: 6 passengers (including children age 6+)
- Private Cruise: 5 passengers (including children age 4+)
- Seating for individuals over 6’3” may be limited.
Captain's Discretion
Our captain has the final say on boarding eligibility:
- If a guest appears impaired, disruptive, or refuses to follow safety protocols, service may be denied.
- In such cases, no refund will be issued—except for emergencies communicated in advance.
